• Layah is extremely passionate about the field of women's health and specifically public health policy designed to empower women and people of color.

• She acts as a health liaison and project manager at many non-profits, such as Lutheran Social Service and KindWorks to connect female refugees and immigrants with breast health services.

​​

• She specializes in HR and finance technologies and regularly attends training sessions that showcase new tech trends that can improve workplace functions.

​

• As a strong believer in the power of positive thinking in the workplace, Amy regularly develops internal wellness campaigns to assist employees with effective mental health techniques.​

• As the president of GMU's environmental club, he hosted a video game tournament to raise hundreds of dollars for environmental charities to help combat unethical, non-renewable energy usage.​

​

• As for his academic path, Jack is in the top 1% of his school and participated in the Business and Entrepreneurship Learning Living Community where he attended educational speeches, networking events, and business dinner meetings with the school's business professors.

• Nneoma Imo is currently a senior at the University of North Texas, graduating this December.

• In the time that she spent in my 2 years of university, she was not as focused on internships, as her graduation approached, she realized she needed experience, especially in a sector she wanted to go into.​

• Yamameh is open to gaining experience and learning from professional mentors and advocates.

• She is interested in this position because she is convinced that Thrives On The Move will empower women through education and employment opportunities that give them a new start as they explore the new environment.​

• Mohammad Ibrahim Rahimi has been a U.S.-based Afghan Journalist since April 2022.

• For more than 15 years, Rahimi has worked for many local national, and international news outlets in Afghanistan. These include the Pajhwok Afghan News, a Non-governmental Nationwide News Agency, and Voice of America, a state-owned international radio broadcaster of the United States of America.

• Zena is majoring in International Affairs with a concentration in Conflict Resolution and double minoring in Arabic and Public Health.
